I put myself on a 400m track against Usain Bolt, Wayde van Niekerk, and Michael Johnson.

I won. By 15 seconds.

Bolt wanted a recount and there was none lol.

Claude shipped something last week which is what made the race possible.

Here's what happened. But before that, let’s catch up on AI this week:

NEWS NEWS NEWS

TOOLS that caught my attention

1. Denovo: It turns an idea into a full business plan, pitch deck, branding, and live website, with a chat agent integrated into 1,000+ tools.

2. MarketAlerts.ai: It uses AI to monitor stocks and alerts you about earnings, price patterns, guidance changes, and insider activity.

3. Ghostwall: It detects bot traffic across Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok, then logs forensic evidence for filing ad platform refund claims.

The test

Anthropic launched a feature that lets Claude generate interactive charts, diagrams, and simulations directly inside your conversation.

It does not require code, or a separate tool, it just builds it inline while you're talking.

Step 1: Upload photo and setup the race

I dragged my headshot into the chat and typed:

Put me in a 400m race against Usain Bolt, Wayde van Niekerk, and Michael Johnson. Use my actual photo. Make me 1.5x faster than Bolt. I want to see us race around a track in real time with live commentary.

Step 2: Spectate the race

Claude built an oval track with four runners.

My face is on the lead runner meanwhile Bolt, van Niekerk, and Johnson are represented by their initials.

Hit "Race!" and it starts.

The commentary updates as the race progresses:

  • 4 seconds in: "Wait... is Vaibhav already ahead? This can't be right."

  • 14 seconds: "Vaibhav is running like he's late for a LinkedIn Live."

  • 20 seconds: "This is getting embarrassing. He's lapping the commentators."

  • 28 seconds: "Vaibhav is on the final straight. The legends aren't even close."

  • 30 seconds: "VAIBHAV WINS. 30.00 FLAT. THE CROWD IS LOSING IT."

Then Bolt crosses. 15 seconds later. He wants a recount. There is no recount.

Step 3: The Damage Report

After everyone finishes, Claude drops the stats.

I won, obviously.

So what’s happening?

Claude's new visualization feature (launched yesterday, available to everyone including free users) generates interactive HTML and SVG directly inside your conversation. That means:

  1. Charts that respond to sliders

  2. Diagrams that animate step by step

  3. Simulations that run in real time

  4. Data dashboards with live calculations

These are also different from Artifacts, Claude's existing feature that opens in a side panel for documents or code you want to save.

Think of it this way: Artifacts are what you hand someone on the way out of the meeting. These visuals are the whiteboard on the wall while it's still happening.

ChatGPT launched something similar three days earlier, but only for 70 preset math and science topics.

Claude works on anything, freeform. And it's free for everyone.

Some real use cases I tested after the race:

1) "How does my phone know it's my face?"

Claude built a 4-stage walkthrough of Face ID: infrared flood, 30,000 dot projection, depth mapping, neural matching, unlock.

2) "Why do airplanes not fall out of the sky?"

Interactive airfoil with sliders for angle of attack and airspeed. Push the angle past 16° and the wing stalls and the stall warning turns red.

Suddenly turbulence makes sense.

What it cannot do, honestly.

My Take

It's a cool party trick right now. Genuinely fun, and I'll keep playing with it.

But I don't think Claude becomes the place everyone goes for this.

The interface already does a lot of things, and people don't default to a multi-purpose tool when they want one specific thing done well.

What I think is actually interesting is what someone builds on top of this.

Take the core idea, like an interactive, visual, real-time explanation layer and apply it to one specific niche.

A tool that does exactly this for medical diagnoses, or financial concepts, or how a legal contract works.

And it’ll bang.

Tried this feature yourself and built something with it? Reply and let me know, I'm curious what people are actually making.

Until next time,
Vaibhav 🤝🏻
