Sorry folks. Some of you were wondering where I was.
Took a small break for my birthday and jetted off to Goa for a week. Here’s a clip:
Thoughts? |
Ummm. Yes.
There are hyper real videos floating all over social media. And most of you are wondering, how the hell do we create this.
And today’s topic is exactly that. With a gift to make it easy for you.
Before we look at the guide, let’s dive into what happened since you last heard from me:
1. Microsoft End OpenAI Exclusivity for Claude. Read here
Microsoft is adding Anthropic's Claude to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, ending their exclusive OpenAI partnership. OpenAI is simultaneously building chips with Broadcom and launching a LinkedIn competitor.
The tech divorce is getting messy as both companies try to reduce their dependence on each other after years of being joined at the hip.
My take: Microsoft just proved that billion-dollar partnerships mean nothing when better tech shows up. OpenAI got lost in their own hype and forgot who pays the bills. Now they're about to learn what happens when your biggest customer becomes your biggest threat.
2. OpenAI Signs Insane $300 Billion Oracle Cloud Deal. Read here
OpenAI will purchase $300 billion worth of cloud computing from Oracle over five years starting in 2027. The deal is part of OpenAI's strategy to diversify away from Microsoft Azure and is connected to the Stargate Project's $500 billion data center investment. Meanwhile Oracle expects $150 B in AI business in th next 4 years (now you know why the stock is up 30%)
My take: When you're committing $300 billion for compute, you're either building actual AGI or creating the world's most expensive chatbot.
3. Sam Altman Can't Tell If His Own Products Are Getting Bot Praise. Read here
OpenAI's CEO admitted he can't distinguish between real Reddit users and bots when reading praise for his company's products. Altman says social media feels "fake" because of AI-generated content: the same AI technology his company pioneered and trained on Reddit data.
He's now reportedly building his own social media platform while complaining about the bot problem he helped create.
My take: The guy who poisoned the well is complaining about the water quality. Altman spent years teaching AI to write like humans, then acts shocked when he can't tell them apart. Building another social platform won't fix the authenticity crisis you created, Sam.
4. Amazon's Zoox Launches Weird Bidirectional Robotaxis in Vegas. Read here
Zoox's robotaxis have no steering wheel, bench seats facing each other, and can drive equally well forwards and backwards. The vehicles were built from scratch for autonomous driving rather than retrofitting existing cars. Service launched free in Las Vegas connecting tourist destinations like Resorts World and Area15.
My take: Amazon spent $12 billion building actual future cars while Tesla just stuck cameras on a Model 3 and called it innovation.
1. Plander.ai: AI Planning That Adapts When Life Gets Messy
Plander breaks down vague goals into specific tasks and reschedules automatically when your plans fall apart. Features drag-and-drop calendar scheduling and an AI "Rhythm Keeper" that reorganizes your week without losing momentum.
My take: Worth trying if you abandon productivity systems when unexpected stuff happens. Could help people who plan well but struggle with execution when life gets chaotic.
2. Rocket Journal: Voice-First Mental Health Journaling
Talk instead of type with "Rant" mode for quick emotional dumps and "Reflect" mode for guided prompts. AI analyzes speech patterns to identify emotional themes and mood trends over time without requiring structured writing.
My take: Good for people who process emotions by talking through problems rather than writing. Also useful if you journal while walking, driving, or just hate typing on your phone.
3. Genstore.ai: Conversational E-commerce Store Builder
Chat with AI agents to build complete online stores without touching code. "Genius" handles strategy, "Sara" manages products, other agents handle design and marketing. Integrates with Amazon, social platforms, and email tools.
Offers up to one year at no cost
My take: Worth trying if Shopify feels overwhelming or you want to test selling online without learning e-commerce tech. Skip if you already know what you're doing with existing platforms.
Coming back to the hyper realistic videos.
I made a pt 2 too 😂
Step 1: Go to the custom GPT I made, and describe a scene you want
Answer the questions basis your preference. First person is better for B-Rolls. If you want to create first person, ensure you mention that the face of the person should show so it leaves that as a pointer in the JSON (you can attach the image later in veo3)
Disclaimer: Veo3 sometimes messes up and gives no audio hence don’t expect it despite the description in the JSON until Google fixes it.
Step 2: Copy the JSON Code
If you read the JSON line by line you’ll realise why the output is so much better when compared to the two line description we give veo3 to generate videos. And will explain the difference prompting has in output.
Step 3: Go to veo3 and paste the code alongside an image of yourself (in case you want third person footage)
Step 4: Eat some popcorn and enjoy the output : )
Don’t have a subscription / can’t access veo3?
Reply with B-Roll footage you want me to create and I’ll do it for the first 10 replies!
Until next time,
Vaibhav 🤝

They’re a private company, but Pacaso just reserved the Nasdaq ticker “$PCSO.”
No surprise the same firms that backed Uber, eBay, and Venmo already invested in Pacaso. What is unique is Pacaso is giving the same opportunity to everyday investors. And 10,000+ people have already joined them.
Created a former Zillow exec who sold his first venture for $120M, Pacaso brings co-ownership to the $1.3T vacation home industry.
They’ve generated $1B+ worth of luxury home transactions across 2,000+ owners. That’s good for more than $110M in gross profit since inception, including 41% YoY growth last year alone.
And you can join them today for just $2.90/share. But don’t wait too long. Invest in Pacaso before the opportunity ends September 18.
Paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals.
