built a game in 1 prompt

i wasn’t ready for how fast this got real

In partnership with

Thursday evening. I'm making coffee when my phone starts buzzing and I really thought it’s an emergency.

Two minutes later, I realised GPT-5 was live.

Within 10 minutes, X posts made me get massive FOMO.

People building entire startups in single conversations.

Apps appeared faster than I could refresh my feed.

I saw one user create a basketball game with realistic physics in one prompt...

Anyway, lets follow the usual news format, here are the cool things happening in AI world

AI that’s trending:

3 AI tools that made me stop scrolling:

1. Boba AI - Anime That Moves Like Real Animation

Boba just dropped their 1.3 model and it's creating some of the smoothest anime clips I've ever seen from AI. You can generate 5-8 second anime videos with dialogue, sound effects, and lip-syncing that actually matches the character's mouth movements.

It handles complex scenes like "a young pirate spotting land through a telescope" or "a giant cosmic horror absorbing a star's energy" with cinematic quality that rivals studio animation.

My take: This is perfect for anime content creators who want professional-looking clips without the massive production costs. Plus, the internet is already going wild creating anime versions of memes and viral moments.

2. Floot - Another app builder that works

Most AI app builders promise the world then leave you stuck with broken code and error messages you can't understand. To fix things, you can literally draw on your app to show what you want changed, and it understands. No more trying to explain "move that button over there" in technical terms.

My take: If you've tried other no-code platforms and hit walls, this might finally be the one that gets you to a working app.Their users have built 4000+ apps since June, which tells you something about how well it actually works.

3. ElevenLabs Music - AI Music That's Actually Legal to Use

ElevenLabs just launched their music generator with something nobody else has: actual licensing deals with major music companies like Kobalt and Merlin Network. This means you can generate studio-quality music and use it commercially without legal headaches.

Generate anything from dreamy indie rock to epic orchestral soundtracks in multiple languages, with full control over vocals, lyrics, and structure. Each track takes just minutes to create.

My take: This could be a game-changer for content creators, filmmakers, and businesses who need original music and can't afford licensing fees. While Suno and Udio are fighting lawsuits, ElevenLabs solved the legal problem upfront.

Back to GPT-5

The Raw Numbers:

  • Math: GPT-5 scores 94.6% on AIME 2025 (GPT-4 was nowhere close)

  • Coding: 74.9% on real-world GitHub tasks (GPT-4 maxed at ~60%)

  • Accuracy: GPT‑5's responses are ~45% less likely to contain a factual error than GPT‑4o

But numbers are boring. Let's see what you can build with it 👀.

What GPT-5 Can Actually Do (Real Examples from X)

  • The UI should be colorful, with parallax scrolling backgrounds.

  • Palette: 16-color swatches with two custom slots; eyedropper; foreground/background swap.

  • Editing: undo/redo, copy/paste selection, flip/rotate selection, clear canvas; status bar with cursor coords.

  • UI shell: faux OS window (’90s style) with draggable title bar, toolbar icons, tooltip hints.

  • Import/Export: import PNG (quantize to palette) and export PNG/SpriteSheet + JSON; save/load from localStorage.

  • Shortcuts: number keys for tools, +/- for zoom; accessible labels and focus order.

  • Responsive layout; no uploads to servers.”
